Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering
The Department of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering (DAASE) was established in 2015, their research focuses on a wide range of topics in the domain of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering e.g. astronomy in multi wavelength, radio, x-ray, gamma ray, optical, infrared, black holes, solar physics, atmospheric science, climate change, cosmological and MHD simulations, astroinformatics, BIG DATA driven astronomy etc. Presently the department has 10 faculty members and runs PhD, M. Sc., M. Tech., MS (research) and B.Tech. programs.
